These terms apply when you buy and use Headquarters, a software product made by Syntropia Oy ("Syntropia", "we", "us").
1. Seller and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com). Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes the payment, calculates and collects VAT or sales tax for your country, and handles returns.
Headquarters costs EUR 25 + VAT per user as a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no usage-based billing and no in-app payments.
2. What you get
- A download of Headquarters for macOS, including the source code.
- A license key for your purchase.
- The version available at the time of purchase. We may release updates; if a future major version is sold separately, we will say so before its release.
Headquarters needs macOS and Python 3.9 or newer. Your own AI agent can install it for you.
3. License
Headquarters is licensed, not sold. You may install, use, inspect, modify and adapt it for your own personal or internal business purposes, on computers you control. You may make these changes yourself or with AI agents working under your control.
You may not sell, distribute, publish, rent or sublicense Headquarters or a modified version of it, offer it as a hosted or managed service to others, or share or circumvent license keys. The full license agreement is included in the download.
4. AI agents and your responsibility
Headquarters coordinates AI agents that run on your computer with the permissions you give them. The agents (for example Claude Code, Codex or Grok Build) are separate products with their own subscriptions and terms, which you obtain yourself.
You are responsible for the agents you connect, the actions they take and for backing up your data. The approval gate helps you keep outbound actions such as emails, payments and releases under your control, but it is not a technical guarantee that an agent cannot act on its own.

6. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Headquarters is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply. Consumers resident in Finland may bring a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board (kuluttajariita.fi).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
